Dec. 11, 1931, No. 34364. Convention date, March 24. [Class 38 (i).] A binding-post T is shielded from accidental contact by a sleeve S and cap C of insulating material, the cap screwing on to the stem 19 of the binding-post, and having a conical boss 17 that centres the sleeve S. One or more apertures . in the sleeve admit conductors to the binding-post. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also modifications in which clips or a plug attached to the cap engage over the stem or in a recess in the end of the stem. Alternatively, the sleeve may be secured at its base by the lower nut 12 and the cap then screws into the sleeve. An identification label may be secured between the sleeve and cap. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
