Abstract

418,244. Plug couplings. LUNDBERG & SONS, Ltd., A. P., and PEGG, G., 477, Liverpool Road, Holloway, London. June 21, 1933, No. 17677. [Class 38 (i).] A socket-member of an electric coupling is formed from a spring-metal blank, Fig. 1, comprising parts 18, 20 adapted to form with the apertured centre 16 a pocket for a terminal block 11, and split extensions. 22, 24 which are bent to form spring socket-elements 26, 26a, the ends 30 of which are flared and may also be slotted. The block 11 is formed with a spigot 15 which projects through the aperture 16 and is riveted over. A modified blank, Fig. 4, is provided with an apertured centre portion 33 to cover the left-hand face of the block 11 and two apertured extensions 39, 40, both engaging with the spigot 15.
