392,476. Heating air and water. HICKS, A. H., 87, Parkfield Road, and TOMLIN, W. E., 140, Northolt Road, both in South Harrow, Middlesex. Oct. 28, 1932, No. 35467. Divided on 388,588. [Class 64 (i).] Air or water is heated by passage through two spaced chambers b, each with an internal diaphragm h making a spiral passage, the fluid entering near one corner m of one chamber passing spirally to the centre and thence through an interconnecting pipe c to the centre of the other similar chamber, whence it passes spirally to the outlet. The chambers are ribbed externally at j, and may be placed at the back of a fireplace. Specification 388,588, [Group X], is referred to.
