Abstract
201,158. Demoulin, U. July 20, 1922, [Convention date]. Sectional boilers are constructed from radiator elements connected up and joined at one end to the cold feed and the other to the delivery. Elements of the kind usually employed for radiators for heating buildings may be employed. In the preferred arrangement an upper series 1 is supported by a lower series 2 and the elements are disposed symmetrically on either side of the fuel feed space 19 and the grate 15. In any arrangement, the inlet and outlet pipes are placed one above the other and both at rightangles to the boiler front, the elements being disposed on either side.
