392,297. Ventilating cabins. MARSHALL, J., 11, Cogan Street, Pollokshaws, Glasgow. Feb. 11, 1932, No. 4074. [Class 137.] Apparatus which may be used for supplying air to cabins comprises, as a unit within a housing, a motor-driven fan or blower 8 drawing air directly from the atmosphere and forcing it directly past electric heating elements 12 or through an adjacent bye-pass 11 the two passages uniting to form a common outlet. Any number of the heating elements can be put under hand or thermoatatic control and the entry to the bye-pass is controlled by one or more dampers. In a modification a set of heating elements is arranged on each side of a central vertical bye-pass below a screw fan. Additional heating elements may be arranged at each point of delivery as described in Specification 341,275. Specification 137,210, [Class 137, Ventilation], also is referred to.
