Abstract

375,861. Ventilating systems. STEWART, A. W., 150, Helen Street, Govan, Glasgow. April 2, 1931, No. 9979. [Class 137.] In a ventilating system, air supply and exhaust ducts are arranged in superposed or juxtaposed relation, the air supply duct being provided along at least one side with air delivery nozzles and the exhaust duct being provided along at least one side with gratings, frets, or the like. As shown, a supply duct 1 provided with outlet nozzles 4 which may be of the type described in Specification 203,456, [Class 137, Ventilation], is mounted in a mock beam 3 above an exhaust duct 2 provided with gratings 5, each grating being arranged midway between two nozzles. Alternatively the exhaust duct may have the gratings arranged along the bottom as indicated at 51, or it may be positioned above the supply duct. Specification 348,309 is also referred to.
