Nov. 28, 1932, No. 33688. Convention date, Jan. 29. [Class 38 (iii).] A source of direct current is converted into pulsating current which is used to drive a synchronous motor. The direct current is converted by reed 19 which is weighted at 34 and is adjusted to vibrate 27 times a second. The reed carries one of the interrupter contacts 31, 32 and is maintained in vibration by magnet 2. The pulsations charge and discharge the condenser 10 through winding 15 of the synchronous motor 37, which thus rotates with a definite velocity.
