Abstract

390,725. Globe &c. holders. BRUN•, H., 24, Bayreutherstrasse, Dresden, Germany. Sept. 12, 1932, No. 25407. Convention date, June 27. [Class 75 (ii).] Means for supporting a globe or the like 1 comprises a member 5 having a number of resilient arms 6 which are bent back outwardly at their ends into U-shape, the inner parts of the U-shaped ends bearing against the clamping rim 7 of the globe whilst the outer parts co-operate with a cup-shaped safety member 11 placed over the arms. The member 5 may be clamped against the bulb holder 2 by means of a ring or spring 9 and a nut 10, the member 5 and the holder 2 being provided with one or more interengaging projections and slots or recesses to prevent their relative rotation. Alternatively they may be permanently connected or formed integrally. The member 11 may be locked in position by means of a nut 12 engaging an externally threaded hollow extension 4 of the holder 2.
