389,036. Spectacle frames. ISUS OPTISCHE INDUSTRIE GES., 2, Schiitzenstrasse, and SALOMON, A., 8, H³benerstrasse, both in Rathenow, Germany. Oct. 17, 1932, No. 28978. [Class 97 (i).] A hinge for the templepieces of a pair of spectacles having non-metallic rims comprises upper and lower terminals each provided with a spigot adapted to enter a socket in the rim which is split for this purpose at the point of attachment. In the form shown both terminals d, d<1> are provided with spigots f set in a socket in the rim a and with a hole for insertion of a connecting screw and are shouldered to receive the end of the temple piece. The lower terminal d<1> is provided with a peg entering a corresponding hole k in the upper terminal d and forming a pivot for the temple-piece.
