387,708. Shirt collars. ADESS & SON, Ltd., 7, King Street, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. Aug. 11, 1931, No. 22697. Convention date, Aug. 11, 1930. [Class 141.] Shirt collars are made to assume a sports shape or an ordinary double collar at the will of the wearer, the band of the collar being suitably quilted or otherwise stiffened in certain of the layers not exposed to view. In the construction shown in perspective in Fig. 1 and in section in Fig. 3, the neckband 2 is multiple layered with inner layers 4 quilted together. A tab 7 and button 8 are used for maintaining the collar flaps in position when worn as shown in the drawing, but the tab when not in use can be folded out of sight and retained in this position by a button 9.
