Abstract

371,610. Wearing-apparel. WHYMAN, A., 23, Sholebroke Avenue, Chapeltown, Leeds. April 27, 1931, No. 12337. Addition to 339,154, [Class 141, Wearing- apparel]. [Class 141.] Overcoats ; sleeves. - Neckbands and/or sleeves are provided with the band described and claimed in the parent Specification, the construction of which is modified by making it detachable. As shown in Fig. I, the neckband 2 has a skirt portion 3 provided with buttonholes 5 for engagement with buttons on the inside of the coat. The band may be made integral with an auxiliary collar which is provided with tabs 9, Fig. 3. The tabs are provided with buttonholes for engaging buttons 11. In both constructions, the neckband may be turned up, as shown in Fig. I, and fastened by press fasteners at 7, or it may be turned down or removed altogether.
