Abstract
386,818. Utilizing wave energy. PARSONS, O. H., 19, Edinburgh Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. March 8, 1932, No. 6933. [Class 69 (i).] Plant for the utilization of wave energy includes floats for operating pumps, the floats being so mounted as to be laterally immovable. Each float 32, Fig. 1, is connected to blocks 34 slidable in vertical guides 33, and to pump-operating blocks 40 slidable in vertical guides 39. The water pumped passes to accumulators 57 supplying motors 65 through automatic regulating apparatus comprising a valve 65a, Fig. 10, acted on by a spring 68 and a piston 67.
