[Class 110 (ii).] A hydraulic variable-speed gear comprises a revolving- cylinder pump 3, Fig. 1, of variable and reversible output, and a vaned motor 24. The vanes of the motor have a pair of rollers 27 at each end eccentric to each other, so that one roller of each pair bears on the upper surface of a cam groove 29 and the other on the lower surface.
