386,263. Removing incrustation. KOHN, E., 3, Selnaustrasse, and GRAESER E., 20, Westrasse, both in Z³rich, Switzerland. Aug. 2, 1932, No. 21600. [Class 123 (i).] In the de-liming of hot water and steam installations by hydrochloric acid, the acid is introduced under pressure at a temperature of 60-70‹C., and the installations are rinsed out with clean water after the de-liming process. A 3-5 per cent solution of 37 per cent hydrochloric acid is contained in a mixture cylinder 1 connected with an air cylinder 2 by a conduit 3 and is forced into the installations to be de-limed through a valve 10. Ultramarine is added to the acid solution before injection into the installations.
