Abstract

385,917. Heating water. DONALD, E. S., Carlington, Selby Road, Garforth, near Leeds. Sept. 22, 1932, No. 26328. [Class 64 (i).] A cold water feed tank 1 is supported on a hot storage tank 2 and is interconnected therewith by a single coupling 9 which provides the supply and expansion or vent connections 12, 11. The cold tank 1 rests on and is rotatable on a table 3 with legs 4 supported on the hot tank 2. The cold water supply pipe 12 and expansion or vent pipe 11 screw into a flanged bush 5 held in the tank 1 by a nut 7. A sleeve 9 surrounding the pipes 11, 12 is screwed on to the bush 5 and is held by a nut 10 against a bush 6 in the tank 2.
