Abstract
385,230. Moving signs. WALLACE, B. F., Weir Lodge, Chertsey, Surrey, and ROBERTS, C. A. N., (trading as LUND BROS. & CO.), 57, Blackfriars Road, London. July 15, 1932, No. 19997. [Class 3 (i).] In a changing sign of the type comprising a moving source of light located behind a display screen, opaque objects being disposed between the light and screen to throw moving shadows on the screen, the opaque objects 33<a> .. 33 are integral with the displayed object 33 and are spaced from the latter by bending in a direction away from the screen 13. The source of light may be a reciprocating lamp or one rotating in a circular or oval &c. path parallel to or at any angle to the screen, or may be a cluster of lamps moving together or independently and of the same or of different colours, or may comprise stationary lamps illuminated in succession. The objects 33 are mounted on the rear of the screen 13 or in proximity thereto. The screen together with the objects may move to and from the source of light.
