Abstract

[Classes 20 (ii) and 20 (iv).] The framework bars B1 of a ceiling are supported from main bars B by recessed plates A, Figs. 2 and 3, which are suspended by bolts C spaced apart at distances equal to the widths of the bars. Metal strips E acting as washers and clamped by the nuts D are bent down to hold the ceiling plates F. Fig. 7 shows a plate A2 for bars meeting diagonally and adapted for use in any of the positions R .. U. Similar plates are used at the boundary of the framework.
