Aug. 25, 1931, No. 23882. Convention date, Sept. 25, 1930. [Class 40 (v).] At electric coupling tunable-throughout a frequency range comprises a tunable secondary circuit LC and a primary circuit L2, C2, substantially uncoupled magnetically but tuned to a fixed frequency slightly below the lowest frequency to be received. The primary to secondary coupling is effected by a condenser C1 so proportioned as to provide a substantially uniform overall transmission characteristic throughout the tuning range. The capacity C2 may in the case of an aerial coupling comprise the self capacity of the aerial and in the case of an intervalve coupling may comprise the anode-cathode capacity of the valve. Specifications 273,639 and 315,399, [both in Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.], are referred to.
