383,445. Portable buildings ; drying ovens. DREISEL, W., 171, Sydney Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Dec. 8, 1931, No. 34028. [Class 20 (i).] Heat-insulating panels for drying ovens or the like are formed hollow of sheet metal 3 with the edges 11 out-turned to form flanges, these edges being connected by metal edge strips 5 overlying the flanges. When assembling the structure, the abutting flanges of the panels are secured together by bolts, rivets, or clips, so that the edges of the panels form stiffeners for the structure. The strips may be formed with interfitting portions for adjacent panels and at the sides and top the panels are formed with the edge strips inclined at about 45‹, Fig. 2. Spacing blocks 34 may be used between the side-plates of the ceiling panels so that part of the weight is distributed to the lower face. The panels may be left hollow or filled with packing, in which case grooves are formed in the side sheets to retain the packing in position.
