Convention date, Nov. 4, 1930. [Class 29.] A refrigerator comprises two complementary and separable parts, viz. an L-shaped part 10, 11 housing a refrigerating machine and from the vertical leg of which projects the evaporator 12 and a storage chamber 14 having a door in its front wall and an opening 15 in its rear wall through which the evaporator projects into the storage chamber. The parts are secured together by strips 16 which cover the joint between them. The refrigerating machine may be of the compression or absorption type and in the former case the leg 11 may be disposed at the side of the storage chamber.
