390,398. Refrigerators. BRIGGS MANUFACTURING CO., 11631, Mack Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.- (Assignees of Ball, A. P. ; 11631, Mack Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.) Aug. 18, 1932, No. 23185. Convention date, Oct. 26, 1931. [Class 29.] Refrigerator cabinets are built up of rigid heat-insulating panels directly joined together without the interposition of frame members, the whole structure being lined and covered with sheet metal. The bottom 12, back 11 and sides 10 are rabbeted and dowelled, as shown, and the top comprises two stepped portions 13, 13<1> to provide a space 18 for a refrigerating unit secured to a frame 28. The sides 10 project above the top 13 and separate metal top and back covers 38, 37 are secured to a rear top corner frame member 24 recessed into the sides. The sides, bottom and top have sloping front edges to form a door seating for a door consisting of a metal covered insulating panel 33. The lining 29 and cover 30 meet at the door opening, the joint being as described in Specification 389,730.
