381,388. Vaporizing and inhaling apparatus. BING, E., 3, Balbiererstrasse, F³rth, Bavaria, Germany. Nov. 26, 1931, No. 32845. [Class 81 (i).] An inhalation apparatus comprises a transparent container a, having external marks m indicating the required liquid level and closed by a screw cover b supporting an insulating casing d enclosing electrodes e, f, which dip into the liquid. The electrode e is secured to the casing d and to a lead g, and the electrode f is laterally adjustable in a slot in a plate i according to the voltage applied, the other lead h being connected to the plate i. A nut l secures the electrode f in any desired position and a partition d<1> in the casing d prevents contact of the electrodes. The casing d is perforated at k to permit ingress of the liquid. The vapours produced by the passage of current through the liquid are delivered through a perforated projection c on the cover.
