[Class 7 (ii).] Radiation of heat from those ports of an engine through which the exhaust gas is discharged, and especially the exhaust pipe, is reduced, by applying a bright coating, e.g. of aluminium, zinc, tin or lead, by the metal spraying process; the coating is, preferably afterwards polished.
