Abstract

375,807. Valve circuits. BERNHEIMER, A. L., Bank of Italy Building, 7th Street, Los Angeles, U.S.A. March 30, 1931, No. 9554. [Class 40 (v).] A radio receiver is energized from an A.C. source through a transformer having three secondary windings, one for the anode voltage 18, and two low-tension windings 26, 27, the latter supplying the cathode of valve 30 and the former heating the rectifier 23. Two values of anode voltage are available at B+ and B<1> + interconnected by a voltage-dropping resistance 35. Grid bias is obtained by resistance 38 shunted by condenser 39; grid bias for the valve 30 is obtained from a potentiometer 31 and resistance 32. Specification 290,286 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 290,286, [Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.].
