374,468. Coin-freed apparatus. TELEPHON - APPARAT - FABRIK E. ZWIETUSCH & CO. GES., 6, Salzufer, Charlottenburg, Berlin. March 10, 1931, No. 7407. Convention date, March 10, 1930. [Class 27.] Testing coins.-In coin-freed apparatus in which the width of the coin channel and the size of the aperture for testing diameter are adjustable, the channel comprises two walls of substantially the same shape and size which are secured together by a plurality of threaded members which determine the width of the channel. As shown in Fig. 2, the wall 1 is mounted on a threaded member 3 between a nut 6 and an externally threaded sleeve 9 which is secured by a nut 10. The wall 2 has three slots into which fit the small diameter portions 7a of nuts 7 which are locked on the sleeves 9 by nuts 8. The bridge 14 of the testing aperture is adjusted at one end by a bolt 16 sliding in a slot 15 and at the other by a pin 17 engaging a slot 17a in the member 14, the pin being mounted on a lever 21 which is pivoted at 18 between the walls 1, 2, and is secured by a bolt 20 sliding in a slot 19. In a modification the member 14 is secured at both ends by bolts 16 sliding in slots 15.
