Abstract

372,872. Garment racks. EVERITT, J., 5, Green Terrace, Rosebery Avenue, London. March 6, 1931, No. 6984. [Class 52 (v).] In a pull-out garment rail of the kind comprising a slotted tubular fixed guide a4 to receivel the pull-out portion d, the upper bar d<2> of the portion d rests upon a roller which is capable of a limited rolling movement within the front end of the guide. In the construction shown the bar d<2> rests upon an independently rotatable hub g<3> arranged between a pair of discs g<2> which can roll along the bottom c<3> of a U-shaped shoe c, attached to the front end of the guide, between stops c<8> and c<9>. The rear end of the bar a<4> carries rollers e and the front end slides between rollers h. Rubber buffers a<8>, a<10>, and a stop f are provided. The rollers may be provided with ball bearings. Specifications 206,338 and 231,345, [both in Class 52 (v), Window, stair, and like furniture &c.], are referred to.
