Abstract

386,735. Garment racks. EVERITT, J., 5, Green Terrace, Rosebery Avenue, London. Oct. 16, 1931, Nos. 28749/31 and 19757/32. [Class 52 (v).] Relates to an extensible garment-hanging fitting for wardrobes &c., of the kind in which a garment-supporting bar c is slidably mounted at its inner end on a horizontal guide rail a by a roller c<2> engaging the upper side of the rail and a roller or abutment c<4> engaging the underside of the rail, the arrangement being such that the free end of the bar can be raised to remove the roller or abutment from the underside of the rail so that the bar can be moved with the upper roller only engaging the rail. According to the present invention the inner end of the bar c is bent upwardly to form the abutment c<4>. In the construction shown the bar c is telescopic.
