Abstract
372,391. Signs. TAYLOR, W. J., 56, Brisbane Street, Greenock, Renfrewshire. Feb. 3, 1931, No. 3402. [Class 3 (ii).] A sign or number plate comprises a box-like casing a having at one end a lamp c with a reflector d arranged to direct the light in the form of a beam longitudinally of the casing so that the centre of the beam is directed on to the other end of the casing, and a second opaque reflector e at the rear of the casing flat in longitudinal section and curved, or angled as shown, in transverse section, disposed at an angle of 2‹ to 10‹ with the centre line of the beam and adapted to reflect the light on to the sign or number plate b, which may be of the form shown in Specification 198,753, [Class 3 (ii), Advertising &c. other than by moving &c.]. A third reflector may be arranged at the end of the casing remote from the lamp c. Specifications 199,059, [Class 3 (ii), Advertising &c. other than by moving &c.], and 342,368 are also referred to.
