[Class 81 (ii).] An appliance for insertion into the nostrils for the treatment of colds &c. comprises a thin sheet of absorbent cotton or the like H loosely rolled into a pencil of the required diameter, preferably having a central air passage A, and then cut into lengths. An inhalant, preferably in liquid form, may be applied at any stage of the manufacture, and the rolled material may have an outer layer N of a binding and moistureresisting material, such as starch or gelatine, applied thereto.
