[Class 53.] Electrolytes.-An electrolyte for an accumulator consists of a solution of chromic oxide, or chromic anhydride, and sodium, potassium or other sulphate. Sulphuric acid may be added to the solution. Other chromium compounds may also be used as electrolytes.
