Abstract

357,890. Galvanic batteries. SOC. ANON. LE CARBONE, 37, Rue de Paris, Gennevilliers, Seine, France. Dec. 29, 1930, No. 39068. Convention date, Nov. 19. [Class 53.] Electrolytes, circulating.-In order to produce circulation of electrolyte and prevent formation of crusts in a battery using ammonium chloride as electrolyte, wicks c or other porous bodies such as bodies made of ceramic material are arranged in the electrolyte in an oblique, spiral or other position. The Figure shows wicks arranged vertically.
