Abstract
371,165. Electric welding. BORNAND, E., 112, Route Florissant, and SCHLAEPFER, H. A., 13, Rue Verdaine, both in Geneva, Switzerland. April 23, 1931, No. 12094. Convention date, May 6, 1930. [Class 39 (iii).] The parts 1, 2 to be welded are arranged at A some distance apart and connected to a source of current. The gap 4 is ionized by an X-ray device 5 to allow current to pass and the parts are finally pressed together.
