Abstract
370,261. Corsets. LINDAUER, J., 42, Faubourg du Temple, Paris. June 15, 1931, No. 17383, Convention date, July 2, 1930. [Class 14:..] A corset is provided at the front with lower panels 9 covering the abdomen when in use and overlapping upper panels 4 which correspond to the waist region of the wearer. The panels 4, 9 are connected to the back part of the corset which extends from top to bottom of the garment and may be laced at 2. The bottom panels are wider than the upper and are provided at the front with busk closures 10 and hooks and eyes 11. The upper panels are fastened with hooks at the side. The busks may be carried to the bottom of the garment and stiffeners 8, 9 may be employed. The construction is directed to a snug fit at the waist by means of the panels 4 leaving the stomachal portion of the body free and the busk 10 freely slidable on the waist portion when the wearer stoops.
