[Class 141.] A plated sock or like article, comprises a 1/1 rib top 1, a leg 2 and instep of appreciably broader rib, e.g. 15/6 and a plain foot bottom 6, heel 7 and toe 8. The plain wales in the leg and instep have also pattern effects produced by reverse plating as shown. Specifications 277,725, [ C l a s s 74 (ii), Knitting &c.], 348,223, and 366,185, [G r o u p VIII], are referred to.
