369,804. Cigar-making machines. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.-(Interna.tiona.l Cigar Machinery Co. ; 5520, 2nd Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.) June 5, 1931, No. 16499. [Class 130.] To prevent cigar bunches from adhering to the cavities of a bunch concentrator, the cavities are cleaned and moistened by a liquid sprayed into them. The cavities 26 are formed in an intermittently-rotating turret 27, and water is sprayed into them through a nozzle 23 in a pipe 19, the spray being regulated by a nut 24. The water is sprayed by a blast of air passing through a pipe 5 admitted by a valve 8 operated through a trip lever 9 from a cam 12 driven from the main driving-shaft. A safetyvalve 25 is provided in the pipe 5.
