Abstract

369,786. Lens mountings for lamps. OLDFIELD, Ltd. J. & R. and OLDFIELD, R. A., Warwick Street, Bordesley, Birming- ham. May 13, 1931, No. 14115. [Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv).] A lamp lens f is formed in its periphery with facial notches g adapted to engage bendable or displaceable projections, tongues or embossments c, d, e on the lamp bezel a so as to restrain the lens against rotation. As shown, the bezel is formed with rigid semicylindrical bent-up embossments c, d beneath, which the edge of the lens is inserted, and a, bendable tongue e adapted to secure the lens in place, a rubber gasket being inserted beneath the lens. More than one of the projections may be bendable or movable.
