366,994. Feedwater regulators for steam boilers. JACKSON, L. MELLERSH-, 28, Southampton Buildings,. London.- (Doble, A. ; 4053, Harlan Street, Emeryville, California, U.S.A.) Sept. 10, 1930, No. 27063. [Class 123 (ii).] In a coiled tube boiler having coils 12 heated mainly by the radiant heat of the furnace and coils 11 heated by contact of the furnace gases, additional feedwater is supplied to the coils 12 through a pipe 27, the supply being controlled by a valve 26 operated by a thermostatic element 21 in the coils 12. When the main engine is shut off, the steam generated from the additional feed is utilized in auxiliaries. Valves 33, 32 are provided to control the deliveries of the main feed pump 14 and the additional feed pump 28.
