366,797. Melting-pots. FELTEN & GUILLEAUME CARLSWERK AKT.-GES., M³lheim, Cologne, Germany. April 8, 1931, No. 10336. Convention date, May 21, 1930. [Class 82 (i).] The discharge pipe 1 of a melting-pot for easily fusible metal, such as aluminium, lead, zinc, tin, and their alloys, is s u pplied with neutral or reducing gas through a pipe 6 or a pipe 8 and hollow valve plug 4. If combustible gas, such as coke oven or generator gas, is used, it may be kept ignited by a small flame 9.
