Divided on 364,796. [Class 114.] A balancing device for screw propellers consists in providing in each blade a mass which is variable in amount for obtaining horizontal balance and is movable transversely of the blade to secure vertical balance. At the root of a blade 1 is disposed transversely to the axis a tube 2 the ends of which are closeable by plugs 4, 5, between which may be disposed weights 3 of magnitude sufficient to obtain horizontal balance and which by positioning along the length of the tube effect vertical balance.
