364,971. Re-laying railway tracks. HENKES, A., 1F, B÷dekerstrasse, Hanover, Germany. April 18, 1931, No. 11573. Convention date, May 20, 1930. Addition.to 302,577, [Class 104 (ii), Railway and tramway permanent way &c.]. [Classes 78 (iv) and 104 (ii).] The ballast tubs described in. the parent Specification are replaced by trucks 2 which convey the new ballast to the site, and after unloading, are transferred by bogies on auxiliary tracks 7 to a track 14 running through the ballast machine 1. This machine comprises two lines of buckets 15 fed by a screw 16 and discharging on to a conveyer 18 which loads the truck 2. The loaded truck is carried by bogies 21, 22 on to the existing track. The bogies 8, 9 carry ballast-distributing shoots 11 and rammers 13 for stamping down the ballast.
