Elevated railways and tramways.-The inven. tion relates to the homogenizing apparatus of a foundry for a continuous-casting system described in Specification 121,886. The used sand, after treatment, is conveyed from a tempering floor to a series of storage bins by a screw-conveyer mounted upon a movable truck running on rails and capable of being transferred from one set of rails to another by means of a turntable. The construction and arrangement of the details are described in the above-mentioned Specification.
