Abstract
371,215. Re-railing devices for railway cars. THIELATANN, P., Silschede, Westphalia, and PEYINGHAUS,W., (trading as EISEN UND STAHLWERK W. PEYINGHAUS), Egge, near Volmarstein, Ruhr, both in Germany. June 25,1931, No. 18447. [Class 104 (i).] A re-railing device comprises an inclined segmental plate 5 adapted to be bolted to the rail and provided with a pair of inclined ribs 4, which, after they reach a certain level above the rail surface, are continued as guide surfaces 6 having a downward and lateral inclination towards the rail. The surfaces 6 are at such a distance from the rail that they do not interfere with normal traffic.
