[Class 113 (ii).] Corrugated metal plate stoppers E are employed in ships and other liquid-carrying structures at riveted joints such as between plate and plate A, B, or between the skin plating and the boundary-bar D of the bulkhead. The corrugations, which may be disposed in any suitable fashion, are flattened out during riveting and provide a watertight joint.
