Abstract
362,559. Capsules for milk-bottles. EARLE, K. J., 4, Walpole Gardens, Gunnersbury, London. Sept. 25, 1930, No. 28669. [Class 125 (iii).] The capsule of a milk bottle &c. B is secured thereto by a sealing strip S the upper part of which is secured to the cap C and the lower part to the container, the intermediate portion being unsecured. The strip may have parallel adhesive tracks separated by perforations from a central portion which is free of adhesive. The upper edge of the sealing strip may be notched to facilitate bending during application. The upper and lower portions of the strip may be separate and the adhesive may be applied in interrupted lengths. The cap can be replaced as a temporary closure in use.
