361,759. Sliding - clasp fasteners. VAAS (nee BAKER), G., 66, East 93rd Street, New York, U.S.A. March 6, 1931, No. 7023. Convention date, March 6, 1930. [Class 44.] The projection 2 on each member 1 of a sliding clasp fastener, adapted to engage a corresponding recess in an adjacent member, is of pyramidal or prismatic shape having a cross-sectional contour in the form of a figure with three or more sides which bulge outwardly, Fig. 1, or are recessed, Fig. 2. In the latter form the recesses may be so pronounced as to produce a star or cross cross-section. Each member has a projection on one face and a recess on the other and is bifurcated to clip on the edge of the stringer in the usual way.
