447,379. Snap - fasteners. UNITEDCARR FASTENER CORPORATION, 31, Ames Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A. -(Assignees of Hall, C. L. ; 208, Eason Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.) Jan. 3, 1936, No. 288. Convention date, Jan. 15, 1935. [Class 44] Superposed members 1, 2 with apertures 6, 5 are secured together by a fastener 3 preferably made of spring metal. The member 2 has a projection 4 extending along its edge, and this projection is engaged by the ends of the laterally movable arms 8 which with the head 7 form the fastener. The arms 8 have shoulders 9 which engage the sides of the slot 5 in the member 2, and with the arms 8 thus held between the member 2 and its projection 4, the head 7 is in firm engagement with the member 1 as shown in Fig. 2.
