Abstract
361,294. Fluid actuated valves. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany.-(Assignees of Bonnoront, A. ; Seine-et-Oise, France.) May 12, 1930, No. 14509. Convention date, May 10, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 135.] The gas supply to the burners 21 of a coiled tube water heater 4 is regulated by a valve 25, Fig. 5, controlled through a lever 36 by a throttle member 14 acted upon by water flowing into the apparatus through connection 11, the width of the openings 13 in the throttle members being adjusted by a cone 16 screwed on the member 14. The lever 36 may be held in the closed position by a bolt 66 moved by a lever 61, Figs. 4 and 6, connected to the door 59 of the apparatus so that the gas cannot be lighted when the door is shut. The ventilator 53 is also connected to the door and opens and closes with it. In a modification, the door is free and only the gas valve and the ventilator are connected. The water coils 4 can be rotated periodically by a handle 7 to equalize the wear.
