Abstract
360,777. Photographic cameras. BAIER, R., 8, Singerstrasse, Vienna. Feb. 26, 1931, No. 6114. Convention date, Feb. 27, 1930. [Classes 98 (i) and 98 (ii).] In apparatus for photographing objects not in the direct field of view, comprising a camera and a mirror adjustably mounted in front of the camera lens on an horizontal axis at right-angles to the optical axis of the lens, the axis of the mirror is adjustable to and from the optical axis of the camera in a direction at right-angles thereto, and the camera and the bearings of the mirror are supported on a common baseboard connected by adjustable articulated plates to a stand. As shown, the mirror 2 carries pivot pins slidable in slots 3<1> in bearing guides 3 mounted in front of the camera lens 1 on a baseboard 6, clamping nuts 4 serving to secure the mirror in any angular or displaced position. The camera A is secured by a nut 7 to the baseboard 6, which is slotted longitudinally to permit adjustment of the camera to and from the mirror, and is hinged to articulated plates 8, 9, the plate 9 having holes 9<11> whereby it may be adjustably secured to a stand S. The plates 8, 9 are provided with arcuate slotted clamping members 8a, 9a, so that the camera may be set with its axis inclined at any angle to the plate 9.
