Abstract

359,257. Laminated springs. STAS DE RICHELLE, L., 38, Avenue du Tolhuis, Gand, Belgium. Nov. 20, 1930, No. 34986. Convention date, April 25, 1930. [Class 108 (iii).] A connection between a laminated vehicle spring and the frame of the vehicle includes a pin and an arcuate slot allowing a small amount of longitudinal movement while tending to return the pin to the central position. In the construction shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the pin 11 is secured in the forked end of the frame and works in a slot in a bush 9 inserted in the eye of the spring 4. The slot is shaped to prevent slack while allowing horizontal play. The pin may be secured in the end of the spring and work in curved slots in the frame.
