Abstract
357,904. Shuttles for looms with automatic weft replenishment. SPENCE, R. L. and SPENCE, BRYSON, & CO., Ltd., Clonavon Factory, Fortadown, Co. Armagh, Ireland. Jan. 6, 1931, No. 463. [Class 142 (iii).] An adaptor, Fig. 4, for enabling a spinner's cop or bobbin 5 to be used in the shuttles and in bobbin or shuttle magazines of looms having automatic weft replenishing mechanism, has a wooden end 1, provided with metal rings 3 for engagement in the shuttle or magazine, and a metal spindle 2 for receiving the bobbin 5 which is secured by the engagement of a spring catch 4 with the base 5a.
